They've said the house holds many secrets close;

and those who breach its walls this world forsakes.

Search high and low, my friend; no stone unturn,

for he that fails is fated ne'er to leave.

'midst tow'ring walls and through the labyrinth deep,

your eyes and wits you need. And lo, take heart;

have faith abound to plunge beneath the keep.

For he that errs may not, by grace, depart.

Lift up thine eyes; behold the glorious sight

of fire and stone; of water and of light.

Elude the waning doubt and make no grouse.

For he that does mayn't leave the Jigsaw House.

The Jigsaw House is a first-person puzzle game. You wake up in an ancient, deserted castle with nothing but a lantern and a sinister narrator urging you to "think" in order to escape. The rest is down to you.

Inspired by classic "escape room" puzzles, The Jigsaw House is an experience in thinking carefully and using your eyes and ears to solve a series of complex environmental puzzles in a quasi open-world environment. Taking influences from such games as Portal (Valve), The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (The Astronauts) and the horror aesthetic of Amnesia: The Dark Descent (Frictional Games), The Jigsaw House is a true test of wits, lateral thinking and patience, with ten unique puzzles of varied complexity and a deeply unnerving environment to immerse yourself in.

The Jigsaw House "open beta" will be available from Friday 29th March 2019.

Very spooky intro. Graphics look a little bit dated, but not ugly by any means. Reminds me a little of Dear Esther in that regard. I think I'm not smart enough for this game though haha. Still stuck in the first room. I see some writing on the walls that's clearly related but I'm not sure where it starts and ends or if I've found all of it.

Hi William. Thanks for checking it out. There’s a patch coming towards the end of next week/beginning of the week after which might hopefully make that opening room a little clearer. In the meanwhile, you can pop along to the Discord https://discord.gg/PersephonesChair and there’ll be people to drop a few hints, I’m sure :)
